While wandering the d'Spot's labyrinth, you may occasionally encounter a bug or two. Yes, even the Despot is not perfect. So, if this happens (even though the probability is staggeringly low), you can always inform us about any issue you are having.
You can report a bug on…
- Technical Support. On this page, you can read the frequently asked questions, find the known issues or submit a request so that our support specialist can help you. Recommended for major issues like crashes;
- Bug Reports Subforum. Recommended for minor issues like typos or mutations not working properly;
- Discord server. Also recommended for minor issues.
To investigate a bug, we would need the following files which can be found in Despot's Game folder located on your system drive (the latter three files are inside a folder with a 17-digit name: your Steam ID):
- Player.log;
- profile.bin;
- settings.json;
- Game saves.
If you are reporting a bug, it's ideal to share the entire Despot's Game folder contents with us.
Despot's Game folder: how to find
1. Open a file explorer window;
2. Copy this path:

- Windows: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Konfa Games\Despot's Game
- macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/com.KonfaGames.DespotsGame or ~/Library/Application Support/Konfa Games/Despot's Game
- Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Konfa Games/Despot's Game
Paste it in the file explorer window address bar. Press Enter;
3. In the folder that opens, you will find all the necessary files.
For macOS users: the logs are stored separately from the rest of the files in this folder: ~/Library/Logs/Konfa Games/Despot's Game
After you have found the folder, please either share it directly with our support or upload its contents using a file hosting service. You can use Dropbox or Google Drive. Share the link with us.
