Keeping your PC, console, or mobile device clean and up-to-date is a great idea, even without facing any issues. Following the steps below can not only reduce the risk of crashes but also improve general performance!
FOR COMPUTERS:
- Frequently restart your PC;
- Take a look at the game's minimum hardware requirements. In case you do not meet them, optimal performance cannot be guaranteed;
- Keep your Windows, macOS, or Linux up-to-date;
- Make sure you're on the latest Nvidia, AMD, or Intel graphics card drivers;
- Check that your Hard disk drive(s) have enough free space, disable unnecessary startup programs, check for viruses, and while gaming, close high CPU/Memory consumption programs running in the background. For a more detailed Windows guide, please press here;
- Ensure you're running the latest version of your Game store launcher and, of course, the latest version of the game as well;
- Install the latest DirectX version.
- Keep your computer dust free by frequently cleaning it, and check through 3rd party applications for any potential overheating issues.
FOR ANDROID/iOS:
- Make sure your OS and game are on the latest version;
- Please look at the game's store or our support page for the exact minimum requirements. In case you do not meet them, optimal performance cannot be guaranteed;
- Check if you have enough space and memory available on your device;
- Reinstall the game.
FOR PLAYSTATION:
- Make sure your system software and game are on the latest version;
- Restart your console;
- Restore your licenses;
- Delete and reinstall the game;
- If it's a network issue, check the PSN network status here;
- Check if your console is overheating;
- In case you're playing from a disc, please wipe it clean using a soft cloth.
FOR XBOX:
- Make sure your system software and game are on the latest version;
- Restart the game;
- Power cycle your console (hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for at least 10", then start the console again);
- Try using a different profile;
- Remove and re-add your profile;
- If it's a network issue, check the Xbox Live status here;
- In case you're playing from a disc, please wipe it clean using a soft cloth.
FOR NINTENDO SWITCH:
- Restart the Nintendo Switch system by holding down the POWER Button for at least three seconds, then select Power Options and then Restart;
- Make sure your system software and game are on the latest version;
- Check for corrupt data;
- Delete and reinstall the game;
- If the issue persists and a microSD card is being used with the console, try the following:
- Format the microSD card.
- Replace the microSD card.
- Remove the microSD card and download the game directly to the system memory.
- Reset the cache; Please note that this will delete your saved IDs, passwords, cookies, history, and other cached website data. Nevertheless, it will not affect your downloaded games or saved game data.
